Dr. Ioana Bartoș
Dr. Ioana Bartoș is a specialist in general surgery, with an outstanding experience in both professional and academic fields. She is currently working at the Medicover Hospital in Cluj and holds a Ph.D. Graduated from the “Iuliu Hațieganu” University of Medicine and Pharmacy in 2015, Dr. Ioana Bartoș completed her training as a resident physician at the Surgery III Clinic, IRGH “O. Fodor” in Cluj-Napoca, between 2015 and 2021. Throughout her training, she was awarded a fellowship in 2013 at the Department of Pediatrics, University of Pecs, Hungary, and has been involved as a sub-investigator in a phase 3 clinical trial since 2016. Dr. Ioana Bartoș has obtained numerous certifications and super-specializations, including a complementary studies certificate in advanced laparoscopic surgery (Medical University of Strasbourg, 2020), laparoscopic surgery level I – basic techniques (2022) and a training certificate in Da Vinci technology as a senior assistant (2022). In 2023, she completed her training with a complementary studies certificate in general ultrasonography. Actively involved in research and medical education, Dr. Ioana Bartoș has participated in events such as the 7th National Congress of the Romanian Society of Neurosurgery and is a member of several professional organizations, such as the Cluj College of Physicians, the Romanian Society of Surgery and the Romanian Society of Emergency and Trauma Surgery. In addition to her clinical activity, Dr. Ioana Bartoș has contributed to the development of medical education, holding the position of associate professor and assistant professor at the Department of Anatomy and Embryology of the “Iuliu Hațieganu” University of Medicine and Pharmacy.
